Purpose of use and personal data concerned

The scope and type of collection, processing and use of your data differs depending on whether you visit our website merely to retrieve generally available information or to make use of additional services:

For purely informational use of our website, it is generally not necessary for you to provide personal data.

b) Use when utilizing further services

If you make use of further services of our company via our website, it may be necessary for you to provide personal data for this purpose.

Which personal data is required for the provision of the service can be seen from the respective input mask.

We will only collect the personal data required to fulfill the service you have selected, for example your postal address for billing purposes if you select the "on account" payment method. Your data is collected, processed and used exclusively for the purpose of providing the service you have requested.

Contact form

If you send SGS inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored in our contact and administration databases for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass this data on to third parties without your express prior consent, whereby third parties in this case are not the subsidiaries affiliated with SGS Holding Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG's affiliated subsidiaries. By submitting the contact form, you consent to the storage, processing and use of your personal data from the form within the aforementioned companies. Your legal rights to information, modification and deletion of your personal data are of course not affected by this. For further information, please refer to our privacy policy.

The processing of your data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain in our contact and administration databases until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" in order to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

Deletion and blocking of personal data after fulfillment of purpose

We process and store personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose, but no longer than until the statutory retention and storage periods have expired.

Once the purpose has been fulfilled and the statutory retention and storage periods have expired, the personal data will be deleted or blocked in accordance with the data protection regulations.

Right to lodge a complaint
