In order to ensure the implementation of the quality specifications required in the testing standards of the automotive manufacturers, regular calibration of the measuring and testing equipment is necessary. For the field of climate simulations, the Calibration Lab of SGS offers calibration of all relevant measuring instruments and measured variables from a single source.
The spectrum ranges from the calibration of temperature and humidity sensors to the spatial calibration of air-conditioning and drying cabinets according to the DKD-R 5-7 guideline with a usable volume of currently up to 32 m³ (depending on the geometry).
For industry and research, climatic chambers play an important role in ensuring constant climatic conditions. Therefore, we offer the calibration of heating cabinets and data loggers that are used in laboratories for room climate monitoring.
Our Calibration Lab can cover a temperature range from -80 °C to 250 °C and relative humidities from 5 % to 98 %. Few calibration service providers have such a large accredited working range. Calibration of your test and measurement equipment carried out by us can make a significant contribution to meeting the requirements of accreditation authorities with regard to metrological traceability.
The SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS Calibration Lab is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 for the calibration of temperature and humidity measurands. The calibration certificates are also recognised by the International Laboratory Accreditation Coorporation (ILAC) and are thus valid worldwide.
